Dr. Adrian Giuca is a cardiology fellow in Romania’s largest cardiovascular center: “Prof. Dr. C.C. Iliescu” Emergency Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases, Bucharest.

His fields of interest are represented by multimodality imaging applied in the area of valvular heart disease, heart failure and cardiomyopathies, but also by interventional cardiology.

Currently he is being trained at the “Hart Long Centrum” of Leiden University Medical Center in The Netherlands, being prepared in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography in specific clinical scenarios, particularly in the management and guidance of structural heart interventions done in the catheterization laboratory (MitraClip, TriClip, Cardioband, TAVR).
